New Photo Gallery

People love photos and Family Cluster believes one of the best ways to stay up to date with family affairs is to see current photos.

Imagine, you walk into the supermarket and pass by a man or woman who looks at you funny. 

You stop and ask, "Do I know you?"

The person replies, "Duh, I'm family, and we trade comments about posts on Family Cluster every day."

To which you respond:  

With photo gallery you can make sure you recognize those closest to you.

Help text will be added to the help book soon, but here is a quick tutorial to get you started.

View the Gallery

Click Gallery on the top navigation menu and you will be taken to a list of all your family members who have uploaded pictures.  Choose a family member by clicking on their name and the next screen will display a list of photo tags (also called categories).  Select a tag and enjoy your family's pictures.

Upload Photos

Click Create Content on the left navigation bar then click Image.  Write a title for your post.  An example would be Katie's Birthday.  Next type in some tags that will be used on the second screen.  Examples would be Katie's Birthday, Photos of Katie, Kid's Party. 

Select browse and find a photo to upload.  Repeat this process until you have uploaded all the photos you want.

Write the post.  The body of the text is where you annouce that you have posted new photos and write a little about them.  For example, you can tell the story about how the party went, who was there, what presents were received, etc...  Don't forget to add a link to your gallery. 

Note:  Photos will not be displayed in the Image post.  The images will be posted directly to the gallery.  The post is what annouces the addition to the gallery.

Select the families you want to see your photos then click Submit.
